Unlike my portrait style, which has remained fairly consistent over the years, my approach to landscapes seems to have drifted around. Oil sketches on paper tend to be fast and painterly, with a few decisive lines here and there. The work on canvas and boards, especially here lately, is moving toward the soft and dreamy — away from information toward feeling.
